Volunteering at the Cedar Closet – Please join us!
Cedar Closet of Flagstaff is a nonprofit organization that is comprised of multi-talented volunteers working together to fulfill their mission. We are an organization whose members volunteer more than 19,000 hours annually. Our volunteers are dedicated to improving the lives of Flagstaff residents through our philanthropic programs, with Compassion, Caring, and Commitment.
Membership is open to those who wish to be of service to our community and have the time, creativity, and passion to volunteer. The joy of giving is expressed through extraordinary programs chosen to meet the specific needs of our community.

Membership Levels and Requirements
Voting Members
- Attend regular meetings
- Work a minimum of 9 hours per month in The Cedar Closet Thrift Shop
- Serve on at least two (2) committees per year and attend their meetings
- Support all fundraising events and activities
Membership Applications
Membership applications are accepted at any time. Prospective new members will be contacted to schedule an educational tour and training. Each new member is assigned a mentor.
