About Cedar Closet Flagstaff

Who We Are

The Cedar Closet of Flagstaff is a nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic programs. Our mission as an all-volunteer nonprofit organization is to support our community with Compassion, Caring, and Commitment.

Cedar Closet of Flagstaff was founded in 1978 with 35 charter members. Since then, we have grown to almost 100 members! We have emerged as a strong force in the community as a volunteer service organization sponsoring nine (9) philanthropic programs serving the needs of children and adults in Flagstaff.

Our members volunteer over 19,000 hours annually and returned more than $250,000 dollars in goods and services to the greater Flagstaff community. This is made possible through the proceeds from our Cedar Closet Thrift Store as well as from direct donations from the public.

WE PROMOTE OUR MISSION OF SERVING FLAGSTAFF THROUGH NINE (9) PHILANTHROPIC PROGRAMS:

A.B.C. – A Birthday Celebration
Bear Hugs
Homeless Help
Kiddie Closet
K.I.D.S. – Kids in Difficult Situations
School Clothes for Kids
Sharon’s Manor
