Sharon Manor Welcome Baskets

Cedar Closet of Flagstaff supports Sharon Manor’s Transitional Housing (Flagstaff Housing Solutions) by providing “Welcome Baskets” for incoming residents.   The Cedar Closet’s Sharon Manor program provides necessities for cooking and settling into their new home. Working closely with staff at Sharon Manor, we also provide specific requests in addition to the Welcome Baskets, such as sheets and towel sets.

Sharon Manor is an independent living residence to transition domestic violence survivors and their children into economic self-sufficiency.

A.B.C. - A Birthday Celebration

A Birthday Celebration (ABC) is a program designed to celebrate children’s birthdays. The children are in safe places with their mother or father, who has experienced  domestic conflict.

A list of items that the child would like for their birthday is given to Cedar Closet of Flagstaff. Our volunteers truly enjoy fulfilling the requests and make every attempt to shower the children with birthday surprises.  Cedar Closet of Flagstaff provides all requests for the children’s birthdays.

We also deliver party essentials monthly to the AZ Veterans Home fostering belonging and friendship.
